RENTAL TERMS & Conditions.

A valid driving licence (category B) is required for all cars and 4WD vehicles. The licence must have been held for at least 1 year. We accept EU, UK and international driving licences.

Minimum age 21 years for all vehicles. Drivers between 21–24 may be subject to a young driver surcharge — please ask when booking.

Category B driving licence or A1 motorcycle licence required.

A1 or A2 motorcycle licence required. Category B car licence is not sufficient for these vehicles.

Valid driving licence. Valid passport or national ID card. We will photocopy these at handover.

Cash (EUR) or debit/credit card accepted. We do not require a credit card hold or deposit.

The rental period begins at the agreed pickup time and ends at the agreed return time. Minimum rental period is 24 hours (1 day).

We confirm all bookings by WhatsApp or email. You will receive a confirmation message within 2 hours of booking.

If you return the vehicle early, we do not refund unused days unless agreed in advance at the time of booking.

Cancel up to 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time at no charge. No cancellation fee, no questions asked.

Cancellations within 48 hours of pickup may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 1 day's rental price. We apply this at our discretion and will always try to accommodate last-minute changes.

If your ferry or flight is delayed, your booking is automatically extended. We monitor arrivals and will be there when you arrive — no need to cancel or rebook.

Cancel by WhatsApp (+30 697 010 1410) or by phone. You will receive written confirmation of the cancellation.

We deliver free of charge to Astypalaia Airport (JTY), Skala Port, and hotels/accommodation on the island. Additional charge may apply for unusually remote locations.

If your ferry or flight is delayed, we wait at the delivery location until you arrive. No extra charge. No cancellation needed. We will have your vehicle ready.

Return the vehicle to the agreed location at the agreed time. We can collect from the airport or port at the end of your rental — please arrange this when booking.

Return the vehicle with the same fuel level as received. Vehicles are delivered with a full tank. If returned with less fuel, the difference will be charged at current island pump prices.

Third-party liability insurance (ΑΤΑ) as required by Greek law. Included in all rental prices.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) — reduces or eliminates your liability for damage to the rental vehicle. Available at an additional daily rate. Ask us when booking.

Insurance does not cover: damage from driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; driving on unsuitable terrain beyond the vehicle's stated capabilities; theft when vehicle is unlocked; damage caused by reckless driving.

All vehicles are delivered with a full tank of fuel. Return the vehicle with a full tank to avoid refuelling charges.

If returned with less than a full tank, we charge for the missing fuel at current island pump prices plus a €5 service fee.

Delivered fully charged. Return with at least 80% charge to avoid a charging fee. Charging cable included. Charging at accommodation is the renter's responsibility.

There is one petrol station on Astypalaia, located on the main road. We recommend filling up before heading to remote areas of the island.

All rentals include unlimited kilometres. Drive as far as you like anywhere on Astypalaia island.

Vehicles may only be used on Astypalaia island. Taking vehicles off the island (by ferry or otherwise) is not permitted without prior written agreement.

Only vehicles specified as 4WD may be used on unpaved tracks. Using a regular car on tracks such as the Vatses route may void insurance and you will be liable for any resulting damage.

Additional drivers must be registered with us at pickup and present a valid driving licence. No additional charge for extra drivers.

Smoking is not permitted in any of our vehicles. A cleaning fee of €50 will be charged if evidence of smoking is found.

Pets are permitted in vehicles provided they are kept in a carrier or on a seat cover. Please inform us when booking.

All vehicles are inspected together with the renter at pickup. Any existing damage is documented and signed off on the rental agreement before departure.

Any accident or damage must be reported to us immediately by phone (+30 697 010 1410). Do not leave the scene of an accident before calling us.

Without Collision Damage Waiver, the renter is fully liable for all damage to the vehicle not covered by third-party insurance. This includes tyre damage, windscreen, and underbody damage.

With Collision Damage Waiver, the renter's liability for accidental vehicle damage is reduced to zero (subject to exclusions noted in Section 5).

Lost or damaged keys will be charged at cost of replacement. Please take care of the keys provided.

These terms are governed by Greek law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Astypalaia, Greece.
